Escorted bike tour – Rhine Route
Disentis - Schaffhausen: Start your tour in the Surselva. From there ride along the Grand Canyon of Switzerland to Chur, the oldest city north of the Alps. Graubünden’s wine-growing area is located on a mound of slate detritus. Also the home of Heidi, Peter and Alpöhi (Heidi’s grandfather). We’ll even spend a night in the Principality of Liechtenstein. After leaving the Rhine Valley we come to Lake Constance – despite the lively human activity along the lake shore, the Thurgau remains an idyllic countryside with castles and extensive orchards. Your tour ends at the ornate town of Stein am Rhein with a visit to the mighty Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen.
