Brülisau - Staubern - Hoher Kasten

Brülisau

The spectacular mountain trail from Staubern up to the Hohe Kasten is the heart of this grand hiking tour. Hikers who don't know the terrain may at times get a queasy feeling in the pit of your stomach, since the trail leads through rocky terrain with steep descents.

Having arrived at the summit, an extraordinary panorama is revealed. The new revolving restaurant on the Appenzell vantage point mountain also offers all-round fascination.
