Swiss Science Center Technorama

Technorama Winterthur is a center for experiments that is geared towards science. Physical phenomena such as electricity, magnetism, one's own perceptions or mathematics can be literally grasped at over 500 stations for experiments spread over an area of 6,500 square meters. Here, trying out, touching, agitating, triggering and doing something oneself is not just allowed but is obligatory. This hands-on dealing with natural phenomena gives the visitor insight into scientific thinking.

The offerings are supplemented by various presentations on topics such as gases, the ozone hole, the greenhouse effect, lighting supraconductivity and lasers.
