The Aletsch Nature Center (Pro Natura Zentrum Aletsch) acquaints its visitors through ecology-oriented programs with the beauty of the Aletsch area in all its diversity and proves that this is an area that merits preservation and protection. Visitors get actively involved in environmental protection work. The center is home to a newly designed natural science exhibition "The Aletsch Forest, a survivor at the edge of the glacier". In addition, there are courses with such topics as "Glacier Weekend", family holiday weeks and the "Mushroom Primer", as well as the youth camp "Nature Adventure" and the "Marmot Weekend". In July and August there are group excursions, which can also be booked by individual travelers:
The Aletsch Forest for the whole family:
Every Thursday, 1:30 PM to approx. 4:30 PM.
Wild game watching:
Every Friday, 6.45 AM to approx. 9.30 AM
Alpengarten:

Expedition Marmot:

Villa Cassel also organizes various festivals, such as a autumn party and the annual open-air movie screening 2'000m above sea level.
