The Bedretto Valley is ideally suited for ski tours on climbing skins or snow-shoes. Options for wonderful excursions, some of them quite exhausting, are numerous: of these we particularly recommend the following: start at the Cristallina hut and climb up along the Val Torta until you reach the Pizzo Cristallina (2911m); then you can descend through the enchanting winter landscapes of the Val Cavagnolo or the Val Piana. Signposts keep you on the right track.
