A via ferrata in a lakeside setting, arranged with great originality
and with plenty of ironwork: ideal for scrambling up the steep rock
above the water.
Baltschieder (Valais)
Alpine, rather sparsely secured route with a hut at the end of the
fixed-rope section. Fabulous scenery of the Baltschied Valley; the
descent is a non-stop feast for the eyes.
Evolène (Valais)
A sports via ferrata in the French style, with very steep, compact rock
with a few slightly overhanging passages and an airy traverse.
Leukerbad (Valais)
The longest and most demanding via ferrata in Switzerland! Long,
vertical ladders, with steep and strength-sapping climbs. The backdrop
is grandiose, and the views across and down are fantastic.
Riederalp / Bettmeralp (Valais)
The experienced guidance of mountain guides make it possible for children to experience the two elements, rock and ice to the fullest.
Saas-Grund (Valais)
A classic Alpine via ferrata, with five ladders, 400 pitons and nearly
1,000 metres of wire rope providing outstanding safety. The mountain
backdrop of the Saastal is unique, and from the top you have a
sensational view across the Rhône valley towards the Bernese Alps. A
route of pure pleasure!
Val d'Illiez - Portes du Soleil (Valais)
A Via Ferrata is a climbing route on a steep surface. It consists of rungs fixed to the rock, and a safety belt attached to a cable protects the climbers form potential falls.
