The leisurely journey over the enormous meadow slope with scattered hay
huts and cowsheds, in the holiday oasis of Brigels Waltensburg Andiast
is rewarding.
The higher you go the more colossal the horizon - from the Piz Vorab in the east to the Piz Badus with Lake Toma, the source of the Rhine, at its feet. The mountain station, Crest Falla, is the ideal starting point for unique mountain walks, for instance to the Muttsee mountain hut and to Linthal over the Kisten pass or to the Val Frisal high valley. Meanwhile there is countryside for more contemplative natures on the sun terrace of Burleun mountain restaurant, 1,716 metres above sea level and 10 minutes from the chair lift mountain station.
Access:
By train from Chur or from Andermatt/Oberalp to Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels and by PostBus to the village. By car from Chur or the Oberalp Pass through the Vorderrhein Valley to Breil
