'E=mc2' - Einstein lived in Bern from 1903 - 1905. The Albert Einstein Society was able to rent his flat and restore the original furnishings and open the site to the public in 2005. The house is in the centre of the Old Town and gives an insight to Einstein's Bernese years. It is here that Einstein wrote his first Treatise on the special theory of relativity. His 1905 works on the photoelectric effect won him a Nobel Prize.

The Kafigturn - is Bern's second tower and is the prison tower. The tower underwent complete renovation and is now serving a different purpose. It is now the seat of the Confederation's Political Forum and regularly host's exhibitions and events relating to political issues.

Marians Jazz Room - is one of the best jazz clubs in the world. In the basement of Hotel Innere Enge, the international top stars of the jazz and blues scene, who are usually not seen or heard in such intimate settings give live performances after dinner or during special evening gigs. The Swiss jazz school and the renowned Jazz Festival have given Bern the reputation of being the Jazz Mecca. The program at the club changes weekly and encompasses Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Rhythm, Blues, Soul, etc.

The Kornhauskeller was originally used as a storeroom for wine. In the upper storeys of the granary, wheat and grain are stored. Nowadays, the cellar houses a restaurant, the Kornhauscafé. In the summer there is additional outdoor seating either out in the open or under the arcades. The Kornhauskeller cellar bar with its large gallery stands for sophisticated lounging.

Besides these there are the Bärengraben, the Berner Münster, Botanischer Garten are very interesting attractions. Another adventurous activity is the City Treasure Hunt.
