Getting Around 
After a 10-minute ride by cable car from Saas Fee to the Felskinn, you continue your ascent on the highest funicular to the world’s highest revolving restaurant. The fast ride also takes place under the glacier at a nearly recordbreaking speed. Under the ice masses of the Chessjen Glacier the "Metro Alpin" crosses the three-thousand-meter mark barely a few meters after exiting the valley station. After passing the train coming from the top, the ride continues to the mountain station located at almost 3,500 meters. When you step out onto the sunny ridge, you will see such majestic four-thousand meter peaks as the Dom, Alphubel and Allalinhorn.
From here, the Allalinhorn can be climbed by any hiker in fit condition, provided he is equipped with appropriate gear and accompanied by a mountain guide.

Access:
From Visp by PostBus directly to Saas Fee. By car from Visp to Stalden and further on into the Saaser Valley. From Saas Grund high up to Saas Fee. There are large parking garages at the edge of Saas Fee.
