How to get there - From Interlaken there are two ways to reach the mountain. From the Interlaken Ost station take a train to Lauterbrunnen. This station is the departure point for the journey by Wengernalp Railway over Kleine Scheidegg to the mountain, and for the trip to the world famous Jungfraujoch on the Jungfrau Railways. Or take a fast and connecting train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald. Interlaken-Grindelwald route takes approx. 35 min. Ice Palace - Already the altitude could make you swoon: 3,454 m. above sea level! From here, you can observe the most spectacular peaks of the Bernese Oberland, as well as glaciers as far as the eye can see. The inner world of this icy beauty can be seen at the Ice Palace, a large cave hewn 200 meters into the glacier. It is adorned with ice sculptures depicting animals and figures from all over the world. These sculptures change regularly. The Ice Gateway connects the Ice Palace with the Glacier Plateau.

Aletsch Glacier - Largest open space in Switzerland. Experience the high Alps. Beginning on the peak of the Jungfraujoch, not only the altitude of 3500 meters is breath-taking: so is the view. Here one has a marvelous view over Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Aletschhorn. The Aletsch Glacier, is the longest river of ice in the European Alps (23kms long). The Aletsch region has been designated a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

Greenland Dogs at Eiger Glacier - In summer the dogs and their keepers travel from the Eiger Glacier to the Jungfraujoch. Once they've arrived there, they take families and dog lovers for a ride on part of the glacier. The Greenland breed is still characterized by its hardy constitution, capable of withstanding extremely hostile weather conditions.

Schynige Platte with Alpine Garden - (1967 m/6454 ft) Take the cosy cogwheel railway to this superb vantage point, where the views of the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau are acclaimed as the finest. As the first of only a few botanical gardens in the Alps, the Alpine Garden at Schynige Platte is truly exceptional. The carefully created plant diversity means that during the course of one summer, one can find the entire richness of the Swiss alpine flora (about 600 species) displayed at the gardens.

Other Attractions are the Snow Disk Run, Tyrolienne Jungfraujoch, Ski & Snowboard Park, the Sphinx observation terrace and the "Top of Europe" Glacier Restaurant.
