In October 1984, experienced hosts Fritz and Jeanette Kaiser reopened this inn that was built in 1300. They have converted the former Old Town restaurant from comfortable eatery into an elegant non-smoking restaurant without losing its delightfully rustic atmosphere. Fritz Kaiser has a real feel for culinary finesse – as is amply evident from his exquisite cuisine and superb wine selection. The restaurant is located right by the lakeside and hence its market-fresh fish treats will please the most discriminating palate. With the ingredients being selected on a seasonal basis, gourmet diners are sure to appreciate the healthy meals served at the Gasthaus Widder.
