Europe’s largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls, is less than one hour by train from Zurich's main railway station. At 150 metres wide and 23 metres high, an average of 700 cubic metres of water falls over the rocks each second. We recommend a boat trip on the Rhine Falls Basin, the Middle Rock and further downstream. The adventure trail with its dual lift system and the Belvedere Trail make for easy access to the magnificent Rhine Falls. On the rope course, children aged four and over can balance from tree to tree on eleven different courses - or go in free fall off a 13m high platform ending in a soft landing, and with stunning views directly onto the Rhine Falls.
