At the impressive Lucerne Nationalquai, right in front of historic hotel complexes, bathers have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the clean lake, to increase their physical fitness, and to sunbathe on the sun deck or relax in the shade. Simple dining options and the bar serve to round off the enjoyment. From the outside, this venue, which dates back to 1884 - 1885, looks like a giant wooden box; but once you have crossed the footbridge and go inside, you will be entranced by the charm of this beautiful Belle Epoque bathing complex.

In summer, there is no better place than Lucerne’s lakefront lido in the heart of the city. From outside, the structure, which was built between 1884 and 1885, looks like a giant wooden box. But cross the pier and step inside and you’ll be bowled over by the charm of this wonderful belle époque bath. You can swim in one of two pools or in the lake, followed by a romantic sundowner.
