Fil-Waltensburg Descent
Overview
Intro
The ski area around the three mountain villages of Brigels, Waltensburg and Andiast is very popular with families because of its sunny location. Most of the pistes range from easy to intermediate. This region’s longest downhill run leads from Fil to Waltensburg.
The chairlift top station at Fil is the highest point within this ski area. From here, you follow the beautiful, wide and hilly run to the Alp Dado. After that, pass the sun-browned Maiensäss huts of Nischarinas before you reach a forest piste leading to the Waltensburg valley station. Enjoy the sunshine and views that accompany your descent. Because there are snow-making facilities along the entire length, you can be sure of perfect skiing conditions from the start of the season right until the end.
