An extension of the exhibition “Ethnopalmes”, this cabinet of curiosities presents four civilisation-fostering palm trees through the objects produced from them and the everyday usage relationships between them and people. When the latter come to realize that these uses are part of their heritage, that they must be protected in order to be passed on to future generations, they have already gone a good part of the way towards natural and cultural conservation.
