One of the most attractive single trails in the Ticino winds its way as a high trail around the Val Colla above Lugano and leads through the hilly forests of Malcantone to the imposing Monte Tamaro. A fantastic tour with spectacular panoramic views.
Description
The section between Monte Brè and Rivera offers plenty of variety. The first part on the ridge between the Pairolo and Gola di Lago where three cosy cabins are located, is a true classic. As a bonus there are picturesque villages, historic monuments – and lots of Italian spirit waiting in store. A tour combining nature, panoramic views, history and culture. The route uses the development potential of the regional bike network. Only a few of Switzerland's bike routes can offer such variety.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
