Intro
Become the fount of all knowledge on any matter relating to the largest lake in Western Europe!
Since 1954, the year of its foundation, the Lake Geneva Museum has gathered a unique collection of objects and documents relating to the lake and its waters, and the nature and culture surrounding it. The collection relating to the navigation of the lake is particularly remarkable: more than 30 boats and more than 150 models are used to illustrate the prestigious naval heritage of Lake Geneva.
Permanent exhibitions: pleasure-boats, small boats, Helvétie II, engines, models and wrecks.
Aquariums: large collections provide snapshots of lakeside wildlife, the mouth of a river, marshes and canals.
