Some of the earlier Art Nouveau landscaping at this public zoo has been preserved. At the zoo, one of the most popular leisure resorts in the city, most of the animals represent a cross-section of the past and present local wildlife. In addition, the vivarium is home to some 250 reptiles, amphibians and insects from around the world. Admission is free.
The Art Nouveau-inspired Zoological park houses more than 600 animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, batrachians) . The wooded area is larger than 30,000 square metres and there is also a vivarium for a few of the species. Free entry.
