Description

Although virtually unknown elsewhere in Switzerland, it is in fact the source of the river Sense – the river that marks the dividing line between the French- and German-speaking parts of Switzerland. In winter, the Schwarzsee is invariably frozen over and therefore attracts not just walkers, but curlers, skaters, cross-country skiers and all kinds of other ice sports as well.
