The distillate with the so-called fox-taste is the basis of Ticinese Grappa. It is cherished for its manifold characteristics. In accordance with the regulations for quality brands, the minimum alcohol content is 45% by volume. The distillation is carried out in several steps; for commercial use only 60% - the so-called core – is used.
