Flüela-Schwarzhorn-Weg
Overview
Intro
The Schwarzhorn is 3146 meters above sea level, south of the Flüela Pass. This symmetrical pyramid between the Flüela Valley and the Dischma Valley consists of dark amphibolite, which is why the mountain is called Schwarzhorn (“Black Horn”).
Description
Davos Dorf- Flüela Pass - bus stop "Abzweigung Schwarzhorn"- Schwarzhornfurgga-Schwarzhorn
From the bus stop "Abzweigung Schwarzhorn," approx. 2 km beyond the crest of the pass, the mountain trail ascends to Schwarzhornfurgga (2880 meters) and leads via the southern ridge to the peak. Thanks to the fantastic view and the fairly short ascent, the Schwarzhorn is a very popular climbing destination. There is hardly a more beautiful place to experience the sunrise. You can see a plethora of wonderful peaks in a sweeping view extending from Grossglockner to Mont Blanc.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
