Since 1412, the Zunfthaus zur Schmiden has been located at the junction of the Marktgasse and the Rindermarkt in the middle of the Old Town of Zurich, and is therefore an outstanding setting for your event, whether business or private.

Extensive renovations in 2010 have brought to light several fascinating features. You will be delighted by the sumptuous late-Gothic Guildhall on the second floor, which dates back to 1520: the high ceilings, the still functional wooden partition which is raised and lowered by a hand-operated mechanism, and the charming details of the Zunftsaal, the Zunftstube and the Waserstube are delightful.

Whether for business or private occasions - for groups of 10 people or more, up to the exclusive use of the entire guild house - you opt for spacious rooms flooded with daylight. You will be surprised by the guildhall’s versatility.
