This varied descent starts at the Rothorn summit. Before you commence, don’t forget to admire the view with its 1,000 mountain peaks. After a short steep slope, the trail leads comfortably down the rear side of the Rothorn to the Totälpli. From here there is a magnificent view over the entire Lenzerheide plateau. After a short stop you will traverse a wide and pleasantly steep slope with plenty of room for carving as you continue on to Scharmoin. Now that you’ve covered 6 kilometres, you deserve a stop at the Goldgräber Bar. Then the route takes you via Dieschen along the final easy 3 kilometres into the valley – and into the heart of the village of Lenzerheide.
Well worth knowing: This quite unique descent is even more amazing at full moon. Gliding down the slopes in the light of the full moon will be an experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
