The station was one of the first to open a Snow Park in Switzerland. The Swiss Snow Board Association (SSBA) has nominated it one of the best national Snow Parks. Once as best Swiss Snow Park and once as best Snow Park in the Franco-Swiss Alps. The professionals chose Thyon several years ago as their winter base, which is why one always sees the world’s best riding in Thyon!
