Snow Garden

Bettmeralp

The Snow Garden is in the middle of the Bettmeralp, next to the beautiful chapel “Maria zum Schnee“. It is easy to reach for young and old. The Snowli Express, our Snow Taxi, also brings children from the outlying areas without problem to the Snowli Land.

The focal point of our Kinderland is the magic carpet, a conveyer belt that takes children in safety up the slope so they can then whiz down the mountain. Thanks to the moderate slope, children can easily handle their first attempts at skiing and braking. The cordoned area is separated into 4 playing and learning zones: In each zone there are various learning aids, such as jumps, climbing ropes, curves and braking aids, walking carpets, magic arches and tunnels, as well as games and animation material such as stuffed animals, balloons, toy cubes and wooden figures (bears, penguins, snakes, and mice).

All children learn to ski through fun and play. A visit by Snowli is the highlight of the lesson-filled morning! Snowli empathizes, encourages and makes all children smile. Singing the Snowli songs together is always great fun. It is true: only with games, fun, and joy, will the ski lessons be pleasurable. Our specially trained ski teachers, who plan the lessons every day with much patience, dedication, and sensitivity, are a great support for the children.

Weekly Highlights
The highlight in the Snow Garden is the big Snowli Race on Friday. All children try their best in their first race and show the spectators what they have learned during the week. At the finish line, Snowli hands out a gold medal, which each child wears with great pride. An unforgettable experience!
