So that you can also eat and drink in a pleasant atmosphere when travelling in Switzerland, we serve you drinks, food and snacks in the SBB Restaurants, SBB Bistros and from the SBB Minibar. When you are travelling abroad, you will find dining cars or on board bistros in some international trains.

Many InterCity and InterCity tilting trains (ICN) include an attractive restaurant serving freshly prepared delicacies. On InterCity double-decker trains, SBB Bistros serve a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and sweet surprises. You can book seats in the SBB Restaurant up to 1 day before departure, direct at the SBB ticket counter or by telephone via Rail Service on 0900 300 300 (CHF 1.19/min. on the Swiss fixed-line network). On the timetable, SBB Restaurants are marked and SBB Bistros , and they are open from 6.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dining cars are also included in some international trains, the Glacier Express and in several trains of the Rhaetian Railway.

The ultimate coffee experience right at your seat, with freshly prepared Lavazza coffee served by the SBB Minibar steward or stewardess. You can also buy hot and cold drinks, croissants, sandwiches and snacks directly at your seat. The SBB Minibar is available from 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. in InterCity trains and also in InterRegio trains, depending on the route.
