For lovers of Typically Swiss Hotels
An authentic mountain hostelry dating from 1897 in the heart of the Alpstein mountain chain, which can only be reached on foot. An impressive backdrop is provided by the legendary hamlet of Meglisalp, populated by Alpine herdsmen and dairymen, with the mountain chapel in front of the Altmann peak. The cuisine features products harvested directly from the surrounding meadows. A rustic room with accommodation for groups is available in the "Mölschter", as the former stable is known. This inn has been owned by the same family for five generations.
