Departing from Interlaken Ost, your destination is Europe’s highest-altitude railway station at 3454 metres. The journey is an experience in itself, with the train twists through the solid cliff face and glacial ice. Seven out of the nine kilometres of track are in a tunnel that penetrates the heart of the mountains of Eiger and Mönch.

The train stops off at Eigerwand and Eismeer, where panoramic windows command a tremendous mountain vista. From the summit, you’ll enjoy uninterrupted views of the Aletsch Glacier, part of the Unesco World Heritage site Swiss Alps Jungfrau- Aletsch – and the majestic Alpine panorama. Welcome to the high-Alpine wonderland where there is snow 365 days a year. For more insight into the history of the Jungfrau Railway, visit Alpine Sensation.
