For tourists and locals alike, crossing the lake on a hot summer day on small ferries, the so-called "Mouettes", is very relaxing. There are two routes: From Paquis (in front of Hotel Noga Hilton) to Molard (in the center of the city) and return from Paquis to Quay Gustave Ador (near Jet d'Eau) and back. Departures: every 10 minutes from April to October.

These shuttles are a delight for tourists and locals alike. The former enjoy the harbour crossings while the latter use them as a useful and inexpensive way to commute. This fast and efficient way to cross Lake Geneva makes these little water taxis the pride of Geneva. Public transport tickets are valid on all Mouettes lines. Frequency: every 10 minutes.
