The Morges–Col de Mollendruz–Le Pont Route leads from Lake Geneva, through its surrounding vineyards and the rolling Jura hills, to the Vallée de Joux. Morges is also a stop on the Route du Vignoble adventure path (PostBus stop Morges, gare). Wednesdays and Saturdays you can meander through the local market; spring sees the festive tulip celebration, and on the lakeside promenade you view the medieval Galeere «La Libérté» along with Belle-Epoque Parade of the proudest paddle-wheel boats in May.

Vullierens invites guests to view its castle (PostBus stop Vullierens, village) –and the over 100-year-old Cossonay cable-car railway provides sweeping views over the Old Town and Saint Pierre et Paul church (PostBus stop Cossonay-Ville, centre). A further attraction is the 14 reptile species of the du Sépey nature reserve; and of course, behind, the pure and natural beauty of Jura’s gently rolling hills and untouched flora and fauna (all PosBus stops from L’Isle, poste). In L’Isle you discover the small «Waadtländer Versailles» - stemming from the17th century – and, on a more active note; Col du Mollendruz is the name to remember as starting point for mountain bikeor by foot (PostBus stop Mollendruz, col).

The Vallée de Joux, nestling between two Jura chains, is another delightful spot for sportive activities, and one that lures windsurfers, riders and ice skaters in particular. And what could be more contenting than a cosy ride alongside the lake or a taste of the region’s local fish specialities? Le Pont (PostBus stop Le Pont, gare) is another name to bear in mind; and the ideal departure point for visits to the Jura Mont d’Orzeires park or to the Dent de Vaulion.
