Swiss Travel System tickets are available for 1st and 2nd class travel. All long-distance trains and most regional trains provide both grades of comfort. This also applies to some ships. The surcharge for 1st class ranges from 50 to 60%.Dine on the move

Many InterCity double-decker trains and 2nd class single-deck InterCity and InterCity tilting trains provide games areas and family zones. Here there is not only enough space for pushchairs but also plenty of fun and entertainment for our younger passengers. The games areas and family coaches are located in the pilot coach at the front or back of the train.On the move by bike
Bicycles may be hired at many Swiss rail stations. If you bring your own bike, you may take it with you for CHF 10 per day (self-service loading). Look out for the relevant pictograms in your timetable, on departure boards and on the trains. On InterCity tilting trains you need to make an additional paid reservation.Bicycle transport
