The 857-meter climb is overcome in eight minutes. The view down into the Rhine Valley and Lake of Constance, or straight Alps of Tyrolia in Austria, Principality of Liechtenstein, Graubünden and Glarus, and far into southern Germany is not the only attraction the Hoher Kasten has to offer. There is a magnificent Alpine garden to be explored.

The revolving restaurant on the upper floor and the panoramic restaurant with a viewing terrace in the mezzanine offer the unhampered pleasure of panoramic vista.
