Witches’ Descent
Blatten-Belalp
The Belalp Hexe (Belalp Witch) is an annual ski racing event that has been held on the Belalp in Canton Valais since 1983. The largest and most traditional of the races, the Witches’ Descent, is accessible to all and attracts over 1,500 participants. At 12 km in length and with an altitude difference of 1,800 m, it is a challenging race to complete.
