In 1883, Rudolf von Salis-Muralt commissioned the celebrated architect Nicolaus Hartmann to convert this farmhouse, built in 1590, into a magnifi cent patrician villa.

Since 1982 the Chesa Salis has been an atmo spheric hotel, its metre-thick walls still evoking an aristocratic grandeur. The 18 rooms are a blend of fi ne period workmanship and modern comfort; in the cosy lounges, gastronomic delights and specialities of the region are served. With all the charm of a private house, yet close to lively, cosmopolitan St. Moritz, this romantic hotel is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday.
