Set in a charming artists’ village, this 200- year-old patrician house offers accommodation in 18 individually decorated rooms, stylishly furnished with antiques. Located just outside Lugano, the Villa Carona was built in 1781 by the wealthy Andreoli family, entrepreneurs from Milan. Various artistic families – Scala, Petrini, Solari, Casella and others – subsequently shaped the villa, and indeed the village as a whole.
