The commune of Lachen is dominated by its twintower parish church, situated close to the picturesque shore of the upper end of Lake Zurich. The mid-baroque chapel "Kapelle im Ried", the Virgin Mary fountain on Kreuzplatz and the town hall are well worth visiting.
