A revival At the end of the 19th Century, the milling industry was flourishing in the commune of Nendaz, having at least 12 mills in activity. In times of shortage, the commune exported wheat flour. During this period, along the path of the mountain stream of Tsablo above 500m followed 4 mills, 1 grind, 1 sawmill and 1 tannery. Thanks to the association dedicated to saving Nendaz heritage, it was completely reconstructed according to traditional convention, bearing the memory of the past. The mill is once again in operation since it?s opening in summer 2003.
