Until 2001, the Maag area was famous for its production of significant volumes of gear wheels. Nowadays, the former factory with its different premises is used to celebrate parties, host corporate events or conferences. Stars like Herbert Grönemeyer, Silbermond, Paul Kalkbrenner, Joss Stone, Lady Gaga or Söhne Mannheims rocked the stages of the MAAG Hall and musical shows like "Ewigi Liebi", "Hair", "Voca People", "Swanlake Reloaded", "MusicStar" or "die grössten Schweizer Talente" were realised. The five premises have different sizes and can be leased separately or in combination. This makes it possible to host events from 20 to 4000 people.
Gold-plated onion domes, bright colours, sweeping lines, asymmetrical windows, uneven floors, colourful ceramic pillars, shady ambulatories, and roof gardens are the distinctive features of Friedensreich Hundertwasser's architecture. His dream and aim were to create an appealing environment for people, while simultaneously helping nature to flourish. The unique architecture of the building with its extraordinary atmosphere is an ideal setting for banquet meals, receptions, exhibitions, product presentations, etc.
A « pearl » to match your wishes: the Alfred Grünwald room is situated in the intellectual centre of the cantonal- and city-library ""Mediathek Wallis"" in Brig and offers an ideal space for panel discussions, conferences, exhibitions and small « Get-Together's » on an individual basis. Modern audio-visual equipment is a « must »; the cold charm of the room is a source of inspiration.
