To the south, the park is spread over the forested slopes of the Jura up to the vineyards of Lake Geneva.

The Vaudois Jura Park extends from the summit of La Dôle to the medieval monastic town of Romainmôtier. To the north lies the Vallée de Joux at an altitude of 1,000m. Visitor programmes are offered by the park office and local tourism organisations.

A double bass, a fiddle, a dulcimer and a dance floor – that’s all the people of Appenzell need to be able to celebrate until the early hours. The charming custom of the “Stubete”, a relaxed get-together of folk musicians, is highly popular to this day.

Chamanna Jenatsch SAC

The cozy Jenatsch Hut is located at 2,652 meters deep in the Bever Valley between the Julier Pass and the Albula Pass. The 60 berths are distributed among five small rooms. The house has toilets and washing facilities. The kitchen offers regional dishes such as Pizzoccheri, Polenta or Maluns, and the cellar of the hut stores fine wines from Graubünden's Bündner Herrschaft and from Veltlin. Access on various routes takes three and a half to four hours.

This is the church that was designed by the well-known architect, Mario Botta - the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista at Fusio.
