The Clos de Doubs natural reserve lies between the mountains and the river in the heart of the Jura region, 50 minutes away from Bale-ville and the airport. The Doubs river is a tributary of the Saone river and flows past the small medieval dwelling of St. Ursanne.
It is a historical and famous landmark amongst other important attractions, for example the collegiate church and the cloister dating back to the 7th century. Between May and October, guided tours of the town take place every weekend. There are many different types of entertainment for art, culture and sports enthusiasts during the summer, such as markets, concerts and exhibitions, motor sports and competitions, canoeing and kayaking, fishing and pedestrian and mountain bike trails.
