Come to Blatten in the Aletsch area and test your skiing skills in competition with our witches and their brooms! The Witches' Downhill races, are attended by 15,000 skiers and boarders.

On the Bettmerhorn you have a unique opportunity to experience a very fast and demanding descent.

The History of chocolate goes back to the 6th Century, when the Mayas emigrated to Yucatan (Mexico), the place of origin of the cocoa bean.

Over the years Château-d'Oex has become an important hot air ballooning site thanks to the exceptional micro-climate of the Pays-d'Enhaut Valley. In good weather, the wind carries scores of people away every day in complete safety on board one of Château-d'Oex's famous balloons. Unique cheese factory in Engelberg: The shape of the soft cheese made in the first Swiss cheese factory located in a monastery is hand crafted.

The Benedictine Monastery, built in 1120, forms the center of Engelberg. To date there are still approximately 30 monks living and working in the Engelberg monastery.
