Excursions 
From Grindelwald it is a climb that will leave us 900 meters higher than we were. Just follow the Pass Road to the Grosse Scheidegg. Continue along the alpine road to Schreckfeld (cable-car station) and then it is a downhill run to Bort (another cable-car station). Here we keep up the altitude to get to Bussalp via Nothalten. Then follow the road back to Grindelwald, first going up and then down.
By the way: the detour to the Bussalp is amply rewarded with wonderful views of the Eiger
