A haybarn that is nearly black from the sun, a small chapel, a mountain lodge and of course the imposing mountains that ring this high altitude valley make for a perfect background. 13 Ricola herbs grow in the Ricola Herbal Garden. These are the ingredients, ranging from peppermint to thyme, that give these candies there delicious taste. Each plant has its own sign - read them well and increase your chances of winning the competition that the Garden offers: see the plants a second time but without their identification sign. Visitors are asked to touch, smell, and taste the herbs and identify them. Now was that thyme or peppermint? The Ricola Herbal Garden contains the answers.
How to get there:
Drive or take public transportation from Brig to Täsch and then by train to Zermatt. From there take the mountain train to the Klein Matterhorn.
Attention: no cars are allowed to enter Zermatt.
