Get as close as possible to heaven as you glide across the glacier on a dogsled! See Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn in the distance, while Lake Geneva glitters far below and the alpine foothills are blurred by a blue-ish mist.
You can also choose to climb on board the snowbus, another original way of exploring the glacier, or you can simply practice winter sports in the middle of summer (cross-country skiing, on-piste skiing and snowboarding)!
Opening hours:
Every day in summer. Cable car from Les Diablerets every 20 minutes (journey lasts 15 minutes).
How to get to Les Diablerets station:
By car: take the A9 motorway in the direction of Great St. Bernard, exit at Aigle. Take the Aigle - Les Diablerets - Col du Pillon road (20 km).
By train: Take the Paris - Lausanne TGV, then the intercity train to Aigle or the Lyria Paris - Lausanne - Aigle TGV. In Switzerland, there are direct trains to Aigle (Simplon line, Geneva - Brig). Then take the ASD mountain train (Aigle - Sépey - Les Diablerets). The Lausanne - Aigle stage takes 30 minutes and the Aigle - Les Diablerets stage takes 50 minutes.
