The Rochers-de-Naye cog train runs up the side of the mountain, coming to a halt 1,600 metres above sea level, where visitors can benefit from one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Switzerland.
The cog train takes you from lakeside plam trees to edelweiss mountain blooms in less than an hour. The 2,045 metre-high cirque offers spectacular views over Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps. There are many activities on offer in Rochers-de-Naye for groups and individuals alike: explore "Marmot Paradise" or wander through the "Rambertia" alpine garden.
How to get there:
By car: take the A9 motorway and exit at Montreux.By train: take the Montreux - Glion - Caux - Rochers-de-Naye cog train from Montreux.
