Well-anchored ladders, steel dowels, and steel cables make climbing these mountains a cinch. The lay climber is safely attached with a climber's harness and secured with a snap hook. There is one condition to using these installations though: users should not be prone to vertigo: below you is a deep abyss, around you a grand vista. Looming in the south is the mighty Mt Tödi and the white Clariden Mountain. In the opposite direction are the Hausstock, and the Kärpf massif. Sometimes you can observe colorful parachutes gliding above the miniature houses of the Glarus Valley.
