Cheese, Hornusser, villagers in Swiss costume, Alphorns - the Emmental Valley conjures up myriad associations, particularly relating to folklore, customs and traditions. But the Emmental has more to offer than youd expect. How about a thrilling bike ride for example? The classic route from Langnau up to the Lüderenalp and back has everything a biker could wish for: technical trails interchange constantly with panoramic passages. Typical Bernese farmsteads line the route and the mountain restaurant serves up great food and drink.
