This rather special fairytale hotel situated in Braunwald on a traffic-free sun terrace in Glarus is a modernised Grand-Hôtel run by the Vogel family since 1975. 2008 saw the completion of 5 family suites and 2 loft suites, while in 2009 renovations to the bathrooms were carried out. Magnificent dining hall, indoor swimming pool, plus wellness area on the top floor with stunning views. Ideal starting point for hikes, incl. Baartli the Dwarf's adventure trail.

Indoor pool with climbing course open round the clock, stingray viewing from the aquarium lift, and kids' slide from the first floor to the children's area. 15m high climbing wall. Supervised kindergarten 7 days - 9 hours per day - with children's dinner served in the kids' dining room. Large playground just outside the hotel with goats and rabbits for petting. Hear fairytales and legends told each evening by the hotel manager.
