Environmental Performance Index – Indice di Efficienza Ambientale

Investire nel futuro – Nella Top 3 dell’Indice di Efficienza Ambientale (EPI) delle università di Yale & Columbia. Queste università valutano periodicamente i Paesi del mondo in base ai criteri salute dell’ambiente, inquinamento dell’aria, qualità dell’acqua, biodiversità, gestione elle risorse naturali e cambiamento climatico. Nel 2008, la Svizzera occupava il 1° posto, mentre nel 2010 è al 2° posto.

Top-ranking in the Yale and Columbia Universities' Environmental Performance Index (EPI). The universities regularly evaluate the environment, air pollution, water quality, biodiversity, management of natural resources and climate change in respect of each country. Switzerland ranked first in 2008 and second in 2010.

The Mercer International study on quality of life in cities: This analysis and evaluation of 215 cities worldwide on the basis of 39 factors (ranging from politics and the economy to the environment) put 3 Swiss cities among the top 10: Zürich 1, Geneva 3, Bern 9.
