손으로 지어진 관개수로는 98 킬로미터에 이르며, 전세계적으로 유일무이한 시설이지만, 발레(Valais) 지역의 가파른 경사면을 더 이상 관개하진 않는다. 하지만 관개수로는 하이커들이나 아이들의 방문을 기다리고 있다. 5월과 10월 사이에 8개의 관개수로를 따라 걸을 수 있는데, 이 수로는 아직도 물이 지나고 있다. 운하의 완만한 경사가 물을 흐르게 하는데, 수로를 따라 걸으면 그림같이 아름다운 "넨다츠(Nendaz)" 주변의 경치를 감상할 수 있다.
